I have cut all the panel frames tonight. Now I'm ready to install them and start the painful work of puttying and sanding them... but if that goes well I'll finally be past the hard part. Then I can focus on the actual controls and time rotor... the fun stuff!!!!! Take a look.

is that Tardis console concealing a bokken and some Klingon Weaponry?  ;)

*edit - I apparently have posted too many short messages and the board won't let me comment on your cool collection of awesome weaponry.
So I will comment Here:   NICE!!!! + !
why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

It is TEMPORARILY covering some Klingon weapons and fantasy weapons. On the wall is the Buffy The Vampire Slayer Scythe, the Buffy The Vampire Slayer axe, The Hellboy II Spear and Sword, the Star Trek Klingon Mek'Leth, the Batman Begins sword cane, and an original Klingon styled weapon. Most of them are bought, a couple are homemade.

I have several more weapons to hang, but I need to rearrange them to make the new ones fit. Some of the new ones; a full size Bat'Leth, Thor's hammer, and the Skiff Guard vibro axe from Return Of The Jedi (one of the finest props I've ever built).

All the display hangers are custom made, so that they would all match.

Oooooh! Mek'leth! WANT! :D

The Mek'Leth is home made. I have better tools, so I want to make an improved version.

When I was stationed on one of my Cutters one of my friends on board (a Damage Controlman) made me a Bat'leth out of quarter-inch thick mild steel. It drew blood when one of my son's martial arts acquaintances stopped by for a visit, spotted the Bat'leth, and decided to show off with it in the front yard. (This guy was about 22 at the time.) And he managed to plant one of the outer points dead center in his forehead. (His skull is so thick he didn't break bone - to give you an idea how arrogant and self-centered this kid was - but boy, did it bleed!)

He was quite afeared of my Bat'leth from then on. ;D

Finally, some real progress. I installed the panel frames and the time rotor hexagon to the main hexagon of the top. I need to sand and fix all the seam, but other than that it's getting there. Take a look and let me know what you think.

So, all of time and space, everything that ever happened or ever will, where do you want to start?

Very clean joins indeed. It doesn't look like much filling is needed. Have you considered using that thin, wood-like plastic moulding to cover the corners instead of filling and sanding? It might show some screws, but it might also save some time and energy.

Thank you for the comments. What I'm actually thinking of doing is putting a strip of poster board over all the edges and then putting a coat or two of fiberglass resin over it for strength. I'm also considering the putty route, but that would be more work. As it's going to be painted I have some options.

Looking great there 13.  Nice fit good joints make things so much better as you go along.  Keep it up ;D

You're all too kind. If you could see it closer, you might not be so kind. Thank you all.

The same could be said about the actual props (and I think it has been said). The difference is more heart goes into our replicas, so even close up I think this would be just as fine-looking as it is in these photos. (We are our own worst critics, but the rest of us see the beauty where the critic may miss it.)
