Angelus Lupus

It wasn't an injury, but I have had surgery on my wrist that meant the nerve(s) running to my thumb and first finger were very sensitive and 'off-kilter' for a long time, so you have my sympathies and I hope the recovery goes well.

My dad bought me a drill press for Yule. I grabbed a table top grinder at the same time.

It is hopped this will prove useful.

Next two days off then early morning appointment. Then work.

Hey Nate,

I had to have a tendon re attachment for the tendon going across the knuckle of my little finger.
I'd like to say I did it fighting off hordes of ninja, but actually it was a washing up injury.
There was a broken glass in the sink & a slashed my hand as I put it in the water.

It was really stiff straight after the op & I was worried I wouldn't get full movement back, but I did the exercises the physio gave me & got full mobility back within 2 weeks.

The docs really know their stuff, so I am sure you'll recover fully, too.

Best of luck,

Regards,

Russell

Someone once said, "Time Heals All Wounds."

Although if you get something chopped off and it falls into a blender..  time's not very good with that one!

I once caught a thumb in a circular saw - took a 'V' shape out the end of it and the nail.  And another time I caught the end of two fingers in the bed planer.  Took about 3mm off the end of one finger, and the other was like a flip top bin lid with the skin still just attached!

Luckily neither caught bones, so things are fine now.

Hopefully we'll all manage to keep our fingers out of the way of 'Spinning Blades Of Death' in the future!

I got some of the rub and buff in both gold and silver as well as found some blue spray paint for glass.

unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the work I did
but I used little tiny amount of the silver rub and buff and it made the gray piece of plastic looks silver. I should probably find a polyurethane spray to seal the image.

Surgery is not today. But will be mostlikly tomorrow. Just had an examination today.

Had the operation today - everyone says good things. Sounds like I'm going to be fine - in time.  ;)

In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

Ask if you can borrow those lights for your console room!

Did they use a general anesthetic on you?  I decided I don't like general anesthetic.  I've only had it used on my once and it is like someone just edited out an hour (more? I don't even know) of your life.  Got a knee fixed and I remember going into the operating room.  Then I blinked and I was back where they did the preop.
