Glad to see your gallery again!  Too bad those polygon mesh freebies are no longer available, but I gather you had to pull them when you started to work in an official capacity with the DVD releases?

oh they are still available. If you see a 'visit website' button under an image that used to say 'download' (the theme update replaced that)

If the old url was
http://interocitor-media.com/tardis/dimensionjump.zip

the new address should be
http://who3d.co.uk/tardis/dimensionjump.zip

I have modified the links so they should work again. I have to figure out where in the template I change the 'visit website' button.

They are working now.  Not sure what happened when I first took a gander.

I already collected the meshes several years ago, but I wanted others to enjoy them as well.

I will admit I kinda' wish the Peter Cushing movie saucer was available.  I saw that film several years before I saw the original BBC serial (on DVD) so it felt an impression upon me.

I know your developed your personal Dalek concept seen on this page...

...before the revival series aired in 2005, so I have to wonder if somebody at "the Beeb" was influenced by your concept of a sliding armament hatch when they designed the "New Paradigm" Daleks.  Yes, I'm aware it could have been purely accidental coincidence, but I do have to wonder.

I was wondering, you did have a guide to all the console controls and what episodes they appeared in...is that in a seperate thread? Have been unable to find it.

Yes, Actually I know they did. When the old Who3D existed back in 2003 the person in charge at that time was contacted by someone at the beeb and asked that the group submit render samples. He was one of those people that you ask for a single written word and he gives you the entire dictionary... overnight! A real keener. He started submitting things like plot ideas and character histories. Anyways I know that pretty much burnt any bridge the group had with the beeb.

We did submit samples. One was the beaten up 2003 Dalek (ironically called 'Rusty')  http://who3d.co.uk/tardis/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/rusty.jpg
The sample video clip was of Rusty darting in and out of traffic while flying. A few years later I saw an interview with RTD when he mentioned seeing that clip (and he was not kind in his comments). Another clip was my Dalek on my doorstep video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNgnIOqjoz0 which was totally used (copied) in the Dalek episode.

So I was not surprised when I saw that back panel on the 'new Paradigm' Daleks. I don't think I actually had any idea what that back panel was for? In my mind the Dalek would just 'transport' it's appendage away and then replicate what it needed in it's place. (Think of the Exo-comp on ST:TNG). The plunger had an optical data interface on it's outside edges, and a gravity manipulator inside the plunger. So it could manipulate up to 4 items just by pointing the plunger in their general direction. I thought that it would allow for a much greater level of exact manipulation than any claw or hook would have. The optical data interface would allow the Dalek to plug-in and control dalek tech like a hoverbout or a craft like the landing craft in Remberance of the Daleks.
