Hello, im fascinated with the texture finish you've got from the paint, may i ask how you achieved it.
Im looking into all options before renovating my own box including scarfwearers plaster and pva method.
Have you used 'speaker paint' im reminded of an old guitar amp i had in the texture

I used a spray on plaster wall texture. It is used to patch spots in ceiling textures.

I used that for my first build when I was living in the US: $14 a can. I used six cans. I looked into getting some here in the UK: £75 a can.

Yep, ive not been able to find it or anything remotely similar.
I'll look into a thin layer of modern day polytex i think.
I also had a go with the pva plaster yesterday so we'll see how that cures
