Lovely photos you have there. Well done again.

Is there anything more satisfying than building  a TARDIS..I don't think so.

Shane, your TARDIS looks absolutely gorgeous

It's such a detailed and beautiful build, all your care and hard work really shows in the finished TARDIS
And it looks brilliant where it's materialised  :D

A very nice TARDIS build! And a lovely setting for it.
Being an NST it should have plenty of storage space, as they're quite a bit bigger than the previous models.

Well, without wishing to sound like a broken record, but that really does look the business.  The addition of the corner post caps really does set the piece off and I like the illumination demo in the video - I'm surprised you can actually see it in such light conditions.  What wattage are you running on them?

So, have the neighbours / passers by made any comments yet?

Once again, very well done.

Once again Shane terrific.
Will you be giving her some weathered paint effect.? It always adds to the overall look.

Thanks again all for your praise.

Neighbors - some friends have asked what is in my yard as they have passed by, but it isn't totally viewable from the street, it will be once the trees loose their leaves for winter.

Purple - the light mechanism is a 24 volt Christmas flasher with the cables cut and re-attached to a 24 volt halogen globe. The light condition was actually darker than the video showed, I might do a full night time video next.
I've thought about butchering a TARDIS flight control toy to get some audio, may need to play with switches and circuits to get it to work.

Cheers - Shane

That's a bloody good looking TARDIS.  Is someone keeping track of who build what kind of box?  There's probably been a dozen built within the past year alone.  Or it seems that many.

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly are the pole/post caps?

Quite simply they are the little corner blocks used on the corners of the bottom step of the roof and on top the the corner posts.

HI All Again

Here is some night shots taken just after dusk.
Interestingly the colour looks the most accurate with flash at night time.
You can also see a difference in the perspex window sections and the glass ones.

Here is also another link of a night time video.
