not bad, the model is very nice . although i think it may actually be a little more pointy in the front .
angel out at around  35 degrees instead of the 15 or so it's at now.

and the shader is  , a little too plastic ,...have you tried adding a rough bump or displacement map to  add to the texture of the model?  or adjusting the specular so it's not so soft?

what software are you modeling in .. ?

HDR or  another form of lighting  could help with the blending ?
or maybe raytrace it?
zdepth map the shadows ?
or do a diffusion pass first before the final composite?
