I feel it might be useful to have a reference topic to easily find the various models. This is of course a work in progress, so please feel free to yell at me with corrections/ additions :)

I haven't done the topics from the 1:3/ 1:5 Brachacki boards yet, but I will (done) and I suspect some of the naming will change, as we go.

I have included the designer of the story - designer of the box goes in the previous cell, when we can correlate which story the box was made for.

In which case the ?? would be changed to eg: Shawcraft/ Ian Scoones (for which ever stories the box was used in)....

It's just occurred to me. That very first miniature box, seen in Keys of Marinus, it can't be 1:3, it's tiny.

Anyone got any thoughts on that?

Yeah I don't know how small it is; however some of the detailing is done in paper. You can see it clearly on the cleaned up DVD releases.

Likewise I'd say the Planet of the Giants box isn't third scale, either. It's really difficult to say for sure, but going by the staining on the door window I would guess its the same box as used in Marinus/Aztecs?

Wasn't the third scale box built for the Rescue (the first story in production for the second season)? If so it can't feature in any story that predates that production - unless it really can travel in time  :o  :o

Is there a TARDIS model in Aztecs?

I have assumed they're the same model in season 1 & 2 and I've noted that in the table

I very much doubt that Ray Cusick actually built any of the Tardis models. Far more likely that it was Shawcraft.
Incidentally, I believe that the two main Tardis models constructed by Shawcraft were the 1:3 scale for the Romans, and a 1:6 scale, rather than 1:5 scale for DMP. Looking at the comparative size of the two models I think 1:6 seems more likely. What do you think?

You're probably right about it being Shawcraft. I'll amend the table. :)

Not sure about scale, I'd have guessed even smaller, but I think most people are better at that than I am

I'm pretty sure the season 1 model used in Keys and Planet of Giants isn't either of the 1:5 or 1:3 scale Shawcraft boxes.

Agreed. This thing is TINY, and of course remember the smaller Shawcraft model was not built until The Daleks' Master Plan...
