Burt the Dalek

Over a millenia ago, I built a dalek. With my dad. My dad is awesome. Here are some "final" pictures of it:






Burt was originally intended to be an Imperial, so here he is in both his white and later "Planet of the Daleks" Council member colours:

Unfortunately this dalek was to spend a better life with someone else, a friend whom took him in and repainted him, this is what I believe he looks like now:



New neck rings and some refining have turned this wolek into something pretty nice

Burt, now called... Dalek DK has had a well deserved upgrade since that last picture. Now he's a black headed 60s dalek. Looking so much better than he did all those years ago.

Hi all
And hi David, I can add to this. A few years ago Burt/DK went through my hands. I did a massive overhaul of his 'Dimensions' adding a new fender etc, and he originally, if briefly, became a Genesis, before finally settling on Evil, and was called HG at the time. He will be at the Gathering on March 10th

It was a pleasure ol' son, and I'm glad he is now living with a friend of ours (Dale Smith, a fellow 6th Doctor cosplayer) I'll try and get a shot of him and Elsie together at the Gathering next week amidst all the mayhem. Over 100 Daleks I've heard, not to mention all the Dalek cosplayers. What have I let myself in for?
