In the "Planet Of Evil" Professor Sorenson uses an oral vaccine to protect against antiquark penetration. (I think that's how it was said.)

I need some closeup shots of the bottle & glass.

The best I could get was a pic from TRAGICALHISTORYTOUR, & a screen capture of the bottom.

why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

Great pictures.

That container looks like it wouldn't be too tricky to scratch build from hardboard or suchlike.

Btw:  Doesn't Tom's gear look great in the picture where you can see it more clearly without the hat & scarf?
That jacket/shirt/cravat ensemble looks awesome!

Cheers,

Russell

The metal bottle is an easy find, the cup on the other hand. The only thing I can think of is ether make a sleeve over a glass, or find a cup with the same dimensions & insert a glass inside.

I forget what type of glass this is called. Anyone know?

I would search for Travel mug or fat bottom tumbler... looks like a glass with the bottom painted silver and a few decals stuck on it. You can see a ring on the bottom where some of the paint has worn away. It may not even be a drinking vessel, it could originally be for a small house plant or something....

My (very brief) research reveals their designation as "tumble not" mugs.

Sorry - can't be right all the time. :P

I had assumed it was a metal canteen with a wooden cork.

Yeah, they appear in Star Trek a lot but I don't think this is one of those. To my eye it looks like a normal shaped glass inside some metal thing they had in a box of possibly useful bits - we've all got one.
I speak to you from the final days of Gallifrey. I am the past you have forgotten. You are the future I will not live to see...

The best I could find was a wide base Non-Slip travel mug. This cup can be modified to put a glass cup inside. Cut the neck, a little sanding. Ether that or use the wide base as a mold or reference to get the round edge I'm looking for.
