Now that I've sadly admitted that my physical servo robot build has gone back to the drawing board...I've discovered the 'Virtual Other Prop' section at Tardis Builders - Woohoo!

My Servo Robot will always be living happily in virtual space on my hard drive.

Built and rendered in Lightwave (in 2008), scarf modelled and simulated in MD (in 2018).

Very nice scarfwork too :)

What's MD?
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

You'd think you'd photoshopped a real scarf in there... :o Amazing... :)

Adding a few old Servo Robot pictures, made for The Wheel in Space Loose Cannon reconstruction.

No longer virtual  :) perhaps he should be sent to model builds now...

3D printed on an 'Elegoo Mars' resin printer
Shown with support structure, straight off the printer.
And assembled ready for tidy-up (and paint, if I'm brave enough).

I hadn't seen that this was your thread.... I was about to say "TG will like this!"  :D

Lovely work :)

What can you tell us about the printer? Does it only do resin?

Hello  :)
It is resin only, it cures the resin using UV light and the resin is water washable rather than needing an alcohol based cleaner.
The resin print has a feel somewhere between plastic and ceramic.
It's a relatively inexpensive printer but the detail seems great - my first ever 3D print!
Unfortunately it's not my printer but I hope to get the chance to use it again, such fun.
