Brachacki prop missing door handles?

I was watching the Pilot episode again last night and wondered what the holes might be either side of the door divide. Looking at the final scene of the Tardis dematerialising in Episode 4 "The Firemaker' - where the prop reverts back to its pristine condition - you can just about make out that there appears to have been two door handles, one either side of the divide which must have been removed at the same time as the white phone panel handle, before the prop was used in the Pilot studio session.

Now that is an amazing revelation!  Obviously the prop guys missed the line about there not being any handles on the doors (and a hidden lock, but we'll let that go).  And I think they filmed the landscape shot before the junkyard and took off the handles during the run through before filming once the error was discovered.  But who would have known that the Brachacki prop had 3 handles on it at the very beginning of its life.
