D2 -- The Box just east of the junction of Bedford Street and Nicholson Street (aka Apsley Place) in the Gorbals.

A view of it in November 1962 (notice both street names are visible on the building across the road) --

Not long after the street was renamed Apsley Place the whole area was demolished and this location left a green, with Apsley Place being eliminated. Development finally took place after 2010 with Apsley Place being reinstated.

Streetview of the Box site from Oct 2010 --

Extract from the 1953 OS map (the first to show this Box - marked "PCB" at centre frame) --

Note that the map shows the Box only about 13 feet east of Nicholson Street rather than the 10 yards specified in the Glasgow List; however, it also shows that between 1933 and 1953 part of the block had been demolished or suffered damage during the war, so it's possible the Box was resited at some point.

How lovely! The 'redevelopment' managed to capture the stark ugliness of the old tenements almost perfectly!  ::)
(mental note - if I ever visit the area, set the co-ordinates for prior to 2010)
A mixed-up non-conformist, trying to fit in.
