There are two things I haven't yet figured out for my TARDIS.

1.  Although I can get the Demat sound brilliantly using an MP3 player and a guitar amp, I want to be able to trigger the sound remotely.  I have a remote controlled plug socket, and when that turns on, the lights all come on.  I want the sound to be triggered automatically when the power comes through too.  Unfortunately, most modern devices you have to switch on.... (unlike a tape player where you could just keep the play button pressed).  Any ideas on how to tackle this?

2.  I've been thinking long and hard how to do the phone ring for the phone in the bell box.  The simplest way I think is to use an old mobile phone and have a ringtone for the bell.  This also has the advantage of being able to be triggered remotely wherever you are.  :)  Also, I'll be able to set up to do the 'Are You My Mummy' speech if I set that up to be triggered by a text being received.  How spooky would that be?  However, I don't know how to make the Are You My Mummy Ringtone.  Anyone have any expertise in this area?
My pilot's license? That's out back in the Cessna. Or perhaps you're referring to my license to kill. Revoked. Trouble at the Kazakhstan border.

I could give you the details but then I'd have to kill you, which I can't do because my license to kill has been revoked.

Would it be worth it to pay for the extra line to your mobile phone?  What about those greeting cards where you can record a song or greeting on the inside?  Then you could put it on the inside of the phone door and when it opens, the phone would "ring."

My mom used to give my brother and I these toys that would say "I love you!" when you touched two metal pieces on the bottom, basically just completing a circuit.  If you got the right kind of sound device, you could put it in series with the lights, and then it would play when the lights came on.

I have added a remote to turn on the system.
I am going to be adding a second vioce recorder for a phone that I am placing in the phone box.
when you pick up the phone it will play ( are you my mom ma)
I can also tell you where to get the sound files off the internet.

"Is there anyone on here who would be willing to contact me via PM and offer assistance with putting something like this together?  I'm not an electrician and have no idea what I'd need or how to do it.

Thanks in advance for any replies!
