Hey Shane, didn't mean to imply you were in any way unfriendly, quite the opposite!
And given some of the things I saw on the day, I'm not surprised you weren't offered any type of reimbursement or compensation.

Hi All

About to start on the final wall for the 2nd TARDIS.
Just need a few hours glueing and screwing then assembly in the final destination, next to my friends pool as a change room. Should get this done over easter weekend, stopping of course to watch Doctor Who..

I'll post the final pictures next week

cheers Shane

Oh NO!!

They have changed the TARDIS again!!  Just watched Planet of the Dead and saw the window bars now going in different directions.
I have included a photo comparison below, LHS is from Unicorn and the Wasp publicity still, RHS is a capture from Planet of the Dead, the cross bars are different.

Well, they do have 4 props to choose from, two from Series 1, the fiberglass from Series 2, and the slightly modified Series 4 model.  I think this was the Series 4 model.  I could be wrong.

Hey Shane, I was wondering, with your TARDIS parked in your backyard under a tree in Victoria, do you ever get any huntsmen in there???

Shane
I am from Adelaide and just thinking about building my own Tardis and have to say that your work here is inspirational. I have never made anything in wood never mind a Tardis but you have certainly got me aching to begin.

May i ask why you began with the Police Box light boxes?

Hi All

Sorry I haven't been on my thread for a few weeks, just noticed these questions.
Pod - I certainly do get the odd spider in there every so often, no Huntsmen yet, just the average small house spider making a web etc..  having said that this summer I'll get heaps. I recently got the DVD of the Davison day I met you at and can say all the running around was worth it for Peter Davison saying " This TARDIS looks fantastic"...

Soldierblue - welcome to a very exclusive club of TARDIS builders in Australia. I started with the signs because basically It made me feel "wow that looks cool" early  on in  the project. I already had the designs in the computer for months prior so I knew it would fit on the finished structure. The only advice I can give if you want a great result is to know your limits and get a professionals assistance were needed, I needed help with the edging on the poles, as a joiner shop have the appropriate routers and planes etc..  Anyway good luck and please post photos of you progress..

Cheers

Shane

Shane,

We've been having issues with the building of the roof. Our construction is a little different from yours, but some nice pics of the inside of the roof would be helpful.

Thanks!
