Abit off topic but I noticed your flight control TARDIS in the background your windows are diffrent to the toy how'd you do that

It's Alright, I took it apart completely and simply used a black sharpie to colour in the black bits on the inside of the windows, so very simple really  ;)

Looks great, boxman. (I see one of the Mods split and relocated this. I'll edit my post in the other thread.)

I particularly live the detail on that lamp. I also love that St. John Ambulance logo. (I've always loved the logo ever since I found out what it was back in 1988... when you could write a letter (on real paper) to the BBC - addressed to "Doctor Who Department" - and they would actually answer you. I asked them if they had any idea what that round symbol was on the Hartnell TARDIS door since the PBS station where I was living at the time had started showing all available 'Doctor Who' stories beginning with 'An Unearthly Child'. I couldn't get a good look at the logo then, even using the latest tech at the time (a VHS VCR and it's old faithful "Pause" button).

The BBC replied and said it was a "stripped down" version of the St. John Ambulance Association's logo - having only the circles and arrowheads on the Hartnell TARDIS' version. They didn't give any reason why the logo was "stripped down", but at least I knew what that round symbol was now. (I'd also gotten a copy of those Radio Times 'Build a Dalek' plans from them. I've still got those lying about somewhere. I made sure to keep them safe. I know they survived that last military move because I saw them after we'd finished unpacking, and then I put them "somewhere safe". (And we all know what that means. :P)

You've also done a great job with the lettering on the Top Signs and the Phone Panel, and the color is about spot on. What color did you use for that blue? Also, how large is your model?

Great job!

Well, I'd say you got it pretty spot on. Well done!

...the model is a fight control TARDIS toy...

So she's roughly the same size as the model I made back in 1984, only I made mine out of some scrap 4 x 4 and odd bits of cardboard and paper. (Yeah; my "Little Sexy" is a solid block of wood with bits stuck on. She's here in the Gallery somewhere.)

With all of the great models being built lately (mostly Steve (fivefingeredstyre) going at it with his eye-poppingly detailed models), I've been thinking of building another, larger and more accurate model. That's why I asked about the blue. No worries, though; I'm sure I can mix up my own.

Great job on your Custom Tenth Flight Control TARDIS!

i basically took the box apart took out the interior part leaving just the box added warm white leds to the roof and white blue leds to the box then taped tin foil to the windows making it more accurate like the prop so the sign and lamp is warm white yellow colour like in the show and the windows glow the white blue with the odd effect on the window made by the foil

Well, however you did your re-worked Tenth Doctor Flight Control TARDIS, the way you took that photo makes her look like she's a full-size build, standing on a large-pebbled walkway (or in a drive). If you showed that photo to someone and said nothing about what it was, they'd probably think they were looking at the actual prop.

Very nicely done!
