A Fan Series with completely new Doctors

The story names are stories that I've seen and enjoyed, what I want to see, and sequels to other existing stories

Well said, Nate! After all, most story titles start out with a "working title" - something to get the gist of plot flowing. Sometimes it ends up being the actual title, sometimes it doesn't but leads into the actual title, and sometimes the actual title is something totally different.

The Claws of Axos was originally called Vampires from Space.

Case in point, and I'm sure if we looked through each and every story from Day One up to now, we'd find many more like this.

When we look back at all of the Dalek stories (missing and surviving ones), more often than not they do start out with "Something Of~" (starting with the 2nd Doctor's "The Power Of The Daleks", and the last being the 11th Doctor's "Asylum Of The Daleks").

Dalek stories have also started out with "The Dalek~" (the 1st Doctor's 'The Daleks' being "the original, you might say" , then moving into 'The Dalek Invasion Of Earth', 'The Chase' - a Dalek story without the name 'Dalek' appearing in it, 'The Dalek's Master Plan').

Now we have to jump ahead to the 9th Doctor story which was simply "Dalek". The 10th Doctor Dalek stories had various titles, with only one being "Daleks In Manhattan". Next odd one out was the 11th Doctor with a couple of episodes featuring Daleks, but not having the name in the title. And the 12th Doctor had several Dalek episodes, with only "Into The Dalek" having the Dalek name in the title.

So, TigerMan, maybe to help resolve your quandary with that sequel story, why not use Nate's suggestion of "The Dalek Curse" as a working title for your first Dalek story, and then for its sequel, call that one "Return Of The Dalek Curse" (again as a working title that builds off of the original story)? Or if you think that's too close to that 7th Doctor audio title, call your sequel something like "The Dalek Curse Returns"? You can always change the titles if something better jumps into your mind.

Thanks, I'll use some of those names to be a working title  It is difficult to name a story without being the exact same name of another existing story. Whether it be an official, extended, or fan story.

You're not the first, TigerMan. There are two US Western films with the title "The Quick And The Dead", and they're utterly different in characters and plots; only the titles are the same. Even 'Doctor Who' did something similar. One of the individual episodes of 'The Dalek Master Plan' is called "The Rescue", and they have the story where the Doctor picks up Vicki which is called 'The Rescue'. (There are probably more productions that have nothing in common except for using the same title, but I thought rather than search and list too many, I'd just mention the ones that jumped immediately to mind.)

So you're in good company when it comes to titling stories.

Wow! That's ambitious to say the least! Good luck with everything! Also, as Nate mentioned up-thread (with cover art), there is a 7th Doctor Audio Adventure titled "Return Of The Daleks", so to avoid looking like you're taking that title from the Audio Adventure, since this is a sequel to your first Dalek story, why not use (at least as working titles for now) "The Dalek Curse" for your first story, and "The Dalek Curse Returns" for the sequel?

If you list them like above with (Working Title) next to them, it will remind you that the title is not set in stone yet, but it will also help keep the Audio Adventure title out of mind so you don't use it, and find possible trouble with the "Return Of The Daleks" title.

One other that I noticed was "Trial Of The Doctor". This one sounds a lot like the Season 23 story arc 'Trial Of A Time Lord'. Maybe use a working title for that one like "The Doctor's Trial", or "The Doctor Goes On Trial"? (Again just trying to keep titles from looking too similar to existing stories' titles.)

Just some suggestions to help you along. This is your project so you can take or leave them as you see fit.
