Doctor who fan mini series that's a bit too ambitious

Yes, I can do something like that. I can use more howlaround from the original test reel from 1970 and 1967 to create something more eerie. Also, I can include a TARDIS in a similar style to the 1974 titles with more slit scan tests from that era. I'll put in that logo too. I'll do too variations with the two 60's ones and a custom one if you like.

Do you have a police box you can use? I understand you don't have a console room though. I would offer for you to use my box. If I had one! I think this would work for a series. If you end up shooting a regeneration or any other VFX shots feel free to ask what's possible!

that's very kind of you!, I was going to make a model met box, used forced prospective and  Vfx to make it look full size, then I was hoping to (somehow) make the doors leading into the console room as full size , have you got a YouTube channel or any platform I can see your Vfx?

As you have said your Doctor will be (temporarily) abandoning the TARDIS would it be more practical (and cheaper) to use a close up of the model police box along with some green screen to achieve the shot as you would only be building full sized doors for potentially one scene?

Yes, I have a channel called JONTENNANT STUDIOS. I must add at this point that my name is not Jon Tennant at all, it is a name I invented on a whim when looking for a character name. I just use it cause it sounds good in my opinion. I am really called Isaac, bit that doesn't sound quite impressive. But I digress, I have also done a title sequence for Trenton Bless on YouTube. It is titled on his channel almost at the top under 'fan titles' or something. Check it out! I was also going to do a collaboration with Keiran Counsel as well but that hasnt happened yet.

well mark I would probably use the full size doors and console for about two episodes at the end of the series, and then for the entire of the next series if I carry on after that

Thanks a lot! I have never really caught up in regards to content but I prefer my work to be good rather than frequent. I forgot to mention I am also working with the legendary Chris Hoyle! In regards to doors, you could always make the whole front of the box from cardboard in the beginning in order to give the same effect as in that drawing you did. Or of course you could buy a life size cut out of the smith box front and cut out the doors and add the lamp and modify it to look more unique, like changing the phone panel and top signage and adding hinges and handles to it. I have a whole fridge box with which I am going to two sides like this.

I hope I'm not too much of a disruption, but two things about the various titles for the series:  One of my favorite bits is the very opening of the original titles, with the grainy black & white and the white ray lancing up the screen until it starts to bend and warp into the howlaround.  Two, I think the last season Pertwee titles are my favorite titles.  Apart from the unfortunate portrait they used of him that looks pale and frail and just not at all like him to me, I think they're perfect.  If I were going to be The Doctor and I could pick my titles, I'd want that, only with the TARDIS instead of the full-length Doctor portrait.

I like your idea jontennant, but personally I think I'm going to make the doors. My mum made all the doors in our house and a huge cabinet, so Iuckly I think I'm all set for that. the box would hopefully look like this

I love the chunkiness of these old boxes, they look seriously solid and imposing, I think it'll work great for a darker Doctor.

Thinking about it, would I be able to make a cameo in it? I have been doing acting professionally at a theatre in Cheltenham and maybe doing work experience in the Cheltenham playhouse. Maybe you could do an Eccleston type reveal and have an incarnation of the doctor regenerating in the TARDIS and then cut to another character/characters and then have a problem present itself but then another guy joins the other characters and later on is revealed to be the doctor (and breath). It could be revealed slowly what happened to make him regenerate and abandon the TARDIS. Does that make sense? Anyway, in regards to the titles, I may add a Pertwee star tunnel at the beginning. With the regeneration, I thought perhaps a mix of the Hurt, Mcgann and Capaldi regenerations. Do you want your face in the titles?
