A simple arrangement: Door Wall, Full Wall and Console with Knossos Throne and Clock

I believe I have the studio floorplan for this one.

I'll check at home tonight.
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

Worth pointing out that episode one, The Nightmare Begins, used the interior much more and so had something approaching the complete original set-up.

I believe that this was the studio layout for "Volcano" but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong:

Well, the second version was definitely yellow/amber!

Now that is a set picture!

Is it available at a greater resolution? I'd love a closer look at the DARDIS...

(Just what did DARDIS stand for, anyway???)

Rassilons Rod

Tony: Second version??? :o

Styre: DARDIS didn't really stand for anything, it was just TARDIS with a D for Dalek at the front. It's not really canon as it only appears in production files and on set plans (never heard on screen).

Yes - the Dalek Time Capsule which appeared in "The Chase" was of a different design with the doors being recessed inside two quadrants which were 'cut out' of the cylindrical body:

As the overhead studio shot shows, the version which appeared in "The Daleks' Master Plan" was a cylindrical affair with no recesses for the doors and a taller (possibly silver) top section.

That great shot from Volcano is one of several colour shots from that episode.

These image shouldn't be regarded as the official layout for One & Eight as no telesnaps were taken. But should regard that scanner though. Used in One and Eight but not Ten.

It indeed is but was there one that looked like in set photos or such?

The second to last image is photo-shopped.

And this begs the question: how many of the recon telesnaps are Photoshopped? With so many episodes completely missing, the Reconstruction Team must be getting telesnaps from other episodes. So, are they Photoshopping some of them to fit the episode they're reconstructing (and so they don't look like the telesnap from another reconstructed episode)?

Which leads to, how accurate are those telesnaps for gleaning a console room layout when it comes to a story that has no surviving images, and borrows from other episodes' telesnaps? (How deep in do we want to get with the console room layouts? Every episode where some come down to guesswork because of borrowed telesnaps? Or just go with known telesnaps for missing episodes to complete those console room layouts first, and then once those are done, then start on the guesswork for episodes with no surviving images/telesnaps?)
