This looks like a cool little prop, but I noticed we didn't have a reference topic yet, so I went ahead and gathered a few images in case they might be useful to someone.

I was thinking the idea of a hole in the box gag. Looks like your holding a box, but really it's a fake hand & your hand is the Eldrad hand inside.

That would make a great prop/gag, and that's exactly what they did to show the hand moving, using green screen to hide the actor's arm. If you look closely , there is a scene that you can actually see the hole at the back of the box with their arm showing. Sorry I don't have any grabs of it.

If you look carefully in this scene where Driscal picks up the hand, you can see a black sleeve leading off to the back of the vault... Oops.
