Sontaran Hand Gun stick

Oops, my mistake, miss read it as "on" instead of "not on".  

So here is what there is with it off. It's the only one I can get, it seems Linx pulls it out, then he engages the button as he moves it up to position so this the best I can get.

This Mind Control gun's emitter looks just like the Gun Stick's emitter, only shorter. On Page 1 there are some images of the longer (weapon) Gun Stick with the emitter not lit. It should look the same color-wise as the Mind Control emitter; only the length of things would be different.

(I hope some of this is helpful.)

A bit blurred, but you can see the silver lever that is the "trigger" for the gun.

Looking at the Sontaren Experiment makes me want to look over all the Sontaren's Communicator/Translator/Remote Control/Scanning Devices.
