Hi All
Thought you might like to see an image from google (I'm sure you've all seen before) and a pic I took on Easter Monday. This is Carshalton in Surrey where, in the early 60s, I would assist ol' Grandad on the milk round and fantasise about the interior of this beautiful specimen. I was amazed at how little has changed
Many thanks
Chris

Oh, nice, I hadn't seen that picture before. They do seem to have put them near railway stations; evidently there was one near King's Cross. Are my eyes tired or is the door a bit low on that box?

Hi All
Found this one of Hayes Middlesex on webshots. Again they all look slightly different.

Nice picture.

The abandoned bicycle does kinda look a little odd though...

Thanks Mark
We think the cyclist is probably using the phone in the K6, what a sad indictment of the times that you couldn't contemplate such an action nowadays. I used to go in shops and such and happily leave the ol' bone shaker outside safe in the knowledge it would still be there upon my return

Hi All
Here's a still from Behemoth the Sea Monster (1959). It's London SE 18 Ferry Approach just before the said beast attacks the Woolwich ferry. Currently showing on Actionmax Sky movies it's not that bad and the monster is very reminiscent of the Zygon Loch Ness gambit when it's in the water. Once on land it changes to stop motion type Harryhausenesque model. Maybe they found some money in a drawer

Is the lady saying "Look! Isn't the lamp tall on that police box"

Perhaps she is saying "There!!! I told you I wasn't imagining it! That police box just appeared from nowhere, it wasn't there this morning!"

Or maybe:
"There! That strange man with the scarf went in there!"
"The man that offered you candy?"
"Yes! That one!"

This one has a familiar looking building behind it?

I've seen the last one, but where are the other two from?

That trolley bus route must have been great for TARDIS spotting!

The top two were found by my son many years ago on a trolleybus website I think. He is very good at seeking them out in all sorts of places

Nice finds! Apparently a Tardis-style police box is seen in use near the end of the 1939 Will Hay film "Ask a Policeman" - anyone got it on DVD by any obscure chance?

If anyone's seen Alfie with Michael Caine, there's a police box in that just after he picks up Jane Asher at a roadside cafe. I'll see if I can get a screen grab...
