Bren, check out my post here http://tardisbuilders.com/index.php?topic=5617.msg66621#msg66621 for help with posting photos. The blue letter paragraph is the one important for anyone using a mobile device to take or post photos. I hope this helps.

All of your really important photos (the ones showing some of the assembly and the finished cuts) posted upright and look just fine, but the above should help you out with further photo orientation issues.

Brilliant work so far!

just had a look at it and i will be doing that from now on so thanks for that. And thanks alot i just hope when its finished it will still be brilliant aha ;D

so i have the corners have been mitred. this had to be done on the big band saw which is at work as the chop saw and the table saw couldn't cut all the way through

20170115_133641.jpg
it was a bit awkward though as the band saw was a bit buried and had to be done by 2 people.

I think the corners ended up turning out pretty good.

this corner is easily the worst.
20170115_151619.jpg

this is what it looks like when all 4 sides are put together (toy Tardis for a rough scale.)
20170115_174944.jpg

the corners are glued and nailed together with the big clamps holding it together while the glue drys.

Looks like you've got this about taken care of.  Just straighten the seed out a bit in the frame, add some water, and in a month or so you should have a fine TARDIS. ;)

(If only it were that easy.)

so the base has glued up well so I've started work on the corner posts. i cut out the joint with the table saw and dry fitted 4 of the planks to see what it would look like.
20170116_204740.jpg

i think it turned out very successful.

The planks need to be cut down to size and some of them will need to be made of 2 parts to make up the length.

Tomorrow i need to buy more glue if im going to have enough to make all 4 corners.

and just a pic of the end of the post because I'm nice

Bob's your Uncle

I'm envious of your workshop.
What is that big green behemoth next to the band-saw used for?

Keep up the beautiful work.
Greg.

A planer?

This is going to be a very interesting build.  The miters on the cornerposts are what caught my attention.

Have no worries, Bren; she will be brilliant. Of all the TARDISes built over the years - no matter the scale, real or virtual - I've never seen a TARDIS that wasn't brilliantly done. They're all proud builds, and yours still looks like she's on her way to that same brilliant finish!

Well it's the workshop at work not at home and the big Green thing is for cutting sheet metal.

I do hope it's interesting. And the cornerpost miters were cut out using the tablesaw.

The corners are currently being glued up with a lot of glue and clamps. i only have enough clamps to do 2 posts at a time so tomorrow i will do the other two.
