I've always thought these guns looked brilliant. Do we know if they were ever repurposed in other stories?

Brilliant grabs, Chris. Thanks again for taking the time to capture them and post them for us. (Interesting to see in that one grab how these guns fire a beam of "candy cane"? ??? :o) No wonder they weren't effective against Cybermen! ;D

I think I came across a prop collector with this prop somewhere here, I think.  http://richardwho.co.uk/collectors/props.asp

I don't remember the guns ever being reused (sadly, I haven't seen Earthshock since the 1980s--it's one of the serials RetroTV doesn't have rights to air) but the helmets were in the Trial of a Timelord story where the Doctor and Peri find earth and meet Glitz.

I always loved the look of these rifles, they look like they were put together from a million different things (and probably were) and I loved how they fired what I call 'Candy Cane Rays'. :)
