I did a quick Photoshop job on the portrait of the Gentleman with the magnificent hair,
then did a Google Image search....but nothing.

I'm not sure - to me it looks like some sort of heraldry crest in a forest.

Ah.... but you knew which painting I was on about ;)

It has 3 diagonal plumes of fire and a horizontal reflection in the water - much like the red glowing bits on the painting in the study.

It wouldn't surprise me if I'm the only person who thinks it's anything like the painting I found though.... :p
