Here are a couple of screengrabs of the communicator device used by the Clerics in The Time of Angels and Flesh and Stone (and later used by the Doctor to talk to Angel Bob)

The BBC also has some concept art for this prop, but there aren't any measurements and it appears to be quite different to the onscreen prop.

Kind regards, The14thDr :D

I just bought one of the solid resin background Cleric communicators as well as one of the hero light-up versions.  A friend at my office bought one of the other hero props

Here's a photo from the seller of my hero version (left), my resin version (right), and a rubber stunt version in the middle.

I'll have to take a look at the episode closely as my hero unit has the center raised section glued in upside down - I'll have to see if that ends up on screen anywhere.  The weathering is different so I know this isn't the one that either the Doctor or Amy used in the close-up shots.

And here are a few more reference shots from the episode:

One of the LEDs on mine is out currently, but here's the communicator lit up:

Volpone

First impulse, that's a very nice prop.  In fact, I'd forgotten how slick all the costuming, sets, and FX were on those Smith episodes.  And off-topic, I see a lot of Doctor #1 Hartnell in Smith's expression in that first photo.  He really was a great pic for The Doctor.

I'm quite happy right now.

All of the communicators have distinctive weathering patterns, and they swap frequently from character to character.

In Time Of Angels, my prop is primarily seen on Angel Bob before he gets killed, but it just showed up here in Flesh and Stone, as Matt Smith gives the iconic 'we have comfy chairs' line...
