I agree with Dino, because I just googled "balls to the wall" and it seems appropriate here.

I log on here everyday hoping to see a new update.

I wish that I could be a full-time TARDIS builder, but.......life.

Day 14

Yet again, another day cut short due to...rain. The 3 main sign frames have been made and a dummy sign for the back of the TARDIS.

I had to take the photos inside the shed so I was limited to how much I can fit into 1 photo.

Well, that's all for now.

Yup, summer means MORE rain. (Sarcastic "Yay"). I actually expected more rain today.

Hopefully, it will be a dry day tomorrow and we can finally put those signs up.

Day 15

The sign frames are now being placed in. So far, two of them are already in which are the side ones.

The day might end with all 4 frames in place.

Day 15 Continued

All sign frames are now in position.

Unfortunately, the cameras SD card was full so I was unable to take any photos until all the photos were saved to a file on my stepdad's laptop. As soon as the rain covers have been taken off for the next construction day, I'll take some photos of the frames.

She's coming together very nicely. You're getting to that point (for me) where it stops being a construction and you realize it is a TARDIS. I don't know if I'm explaining that right, but you obviously know it is a TARDIS. And all the parts are recognizably TARDIS parts. But there's something about when the windows go in a wall side or that first coat of blue goes on that is magical and you go "HOLY CRAP, THERE'S A TARDIS IN MY BACKYARD!"

yep, she really does look like a TARDIS now. It's kind of like she is slowly materializing. I'm now going say materialization instead of construction for now on.
