A slightly more modern take on a 60's prop... my first attempt, years ago, just looks awful.

The hinged caps open and fluid can be added/removed.

That doesn't look awful at all! It looks like a perfect take on an updated version of the Fluid Link. And I like how you can actually put liquid inside it. Now all you have to do is figure out where to find a silvery liquid that isn't toxic like real mercury to put inside it.

They are the lids from a couple of L'Occitane bottles  ;)
