I found this tutorial online for creating rub-on transfers:
https://bluebuttonpress.wordpress.com/2012/03/02/the-best-craft-secret-you-never-knew/

It says you can use an inkjet printer, but I'm not sure how well it will work on your demat lever. I hope at least some of this is helpful though?

It looks like it may well be helpful, thanks.

Got rid of the toggle clamps, never that happy with them, replaced them with a little switchboard. I've also replaced the demat levers with cog knobs.

Love it! (I don't know what else to say - that switchboard looks great and a nice nod to the TVM console)

The demat control really reminds me of the "hockey puck levers" on the original TARDIS, but with a brilliant modern twist.

Thank you very much.

Fantastic console, absolutely love the design :D,
I only wish the current console looked something like that.
Do the meters, lights, switches and buttons do stuff???

Thanks. No, I still haven't wired it up. My boss says it would be easy but I'm worried about starting a fire or some such.

I'm not sure about the new console myself. Doesn't seem to be much bang for ya buck RE controls, lots of empty space.

I've been meaning to take some pics of my console to showcase the updates, I'll try and get round to it tomorrow.

You really should do, just use a basic 12v wall wort and use that as a 12volt rail and then you can use micro-controllers like a simple arduino
to program it and give it a bit of life. You can even just add some carefully selected xmas lights.

Stage one of a bit of a revamp, Sharp console style toggle switches -

The aim is to reduce the amount of bright colours and achieve a more unified, business like appearance. Sort of like Logopolis to Castrovalva (before going in the total opposite direction again in Arc of Infinity)

I really shouldn't do this, ever google "throttle quadrant" for levers - going to be grabbing your chest. Not show accurate but if you're going for that "look"... might be overkill.

Cardinal Hordriss

Just looked it up. If I was building a new console from scratch I'd probably consider incorporating something like that but it wouldn't really fit with this one. It might be worth posting a thread about them though, I'm sure someone will be inspired by them.
