This one of the Remaining original posts.
It was removed for restoration sometime in 2010 or 2011?

At some point in the 1990s it was painted the darker Metropolitan Blue.
It stayed that way until the recent restoration.

I was digging around in my photo collection and thought I should post these internal photos.

These photos come from a man named Mick who I purchased my Police Post Door and sign and the lantern cap. Both HB and I spoke to him quite a bit before he disappeared without a trace. He passed along a number of fascinating photos and details. These photos were printed on thin paper and double sided so please forgive the bleed through.  

This is a look at the internals of a Working Post, I would expect in the 1980s.
This is because the photos were sent with photos of the original Piccadilly Post printed on the back.
