Tardis lawn ornament.

Hey,
Quite new around here.
I found it on my way looking to build a Tardis for my friends garden.
I dont want it to be a full size but about 3 to 4 feet in height but still work out all the other lengths so it looks proper.

Is it possible to make it weather proof and possibly use it as a mini storage container? locked of course . I'm sure putting electricity into it is a bad idea for an outside item...
