Sign Boxes and Clover leaves

It seems plausible, but the lefthand picture could well be transparent lettering on a frosted background, like the front sign. The lefthand picture has too much contrast to tell whether we're looking at clear glass or black paint.
I had thought it was the signs on the sides that were painted, or am I imagining things?

I knew that the 1/3 scale model made an appearance in Claws of Axos:



But I hadn't realised until now that it also appeared in Carnival of Monsters:





Anyone know if this was its last appearance?

Does anyone recognise this? I wonder why the top sign's the way it is. Someone just liked symmetry I suppose.

Just thought I'd add that in 1966 (according to the telesnaps) the box seems to have a flat roof for Power Of the Daleks.
