Also, here's where the lamp is:

But upon further inspection of the actual lamp, I think the surrounding "cage" needs to be closer.
The top and bottom black sections are 3d printed but will be painted in copper/brass colours, then I need to work out how best to add the wire in and around it. The idea is its meant to be taken apart easily if required.

I'm generally happy with my...affordable...Vermont Lantern "Fresnel" lamp chimney.  But when I see a really nice actual lens Fresnel it does make me want one (also when I see the puny amount of light mine generates compared what it could do with a real lens).
