Adric's Star of Excellence

I wanted to make (cause you can't 'build') Adric's 'Star of excellence', but I didn't want to just cut a star shape out of wood and paint it gold and blue, where's the fun in that. So, as (to me anyway) the original prop looks like it's blue enamel or similar on gold metal I decided to go about making it this way. first make the gold frame (all be it plastic) and set the blue 'enamel' section into it.    





A touch of filler in a couple of minor flaws ...

Okay, Oblivion, now what you need to do is choose your favorite color for the center, and make another one of these with that color for yourself to wear as your Badge for Prop Replication Excellence!

One thing I forgot to ask: is there a pin on the back (like the original had)? And if so, how did you attach it?

Thats easy, at craft stores they have special pins for badges you can glue on the back.

Ah, okay; that solves that one (duh... I've seen those pins and should have known that ).

I guess what I should have asked (because they make more sense) was:

-what sort of pin did the original have (if anyone knows)?

-how large is the badge (and is the star symmetrical)?
