Different phone types in police boxes

Oh ok, was totally misinformed on how they were built. Seeing some episodes where both doors are open, I assumed they did - wrong.

Both Doors are open in such episodes as The Ice Warriors, The Three Doctors, Time-Flight, Trial of a Time Lord (Mindwarp), (just off the top of my head. )

As for the original police box .... not so much.

What Nate said: there are no "dumb" observations, only observations that make us go back and look at things again, and many times we do notice something that we missed the first (dozen ) time around.

And yes, in several Classic (mostly 2nd Doctor stories) and in "The Eleventh Hour", both TARDIS doors open outward. (They both open inward at the same time in too many episodes to list here.) It was only the real concrete Police Boxes (not to be confused with the original TARDIS prop) that had just one door. (Only clarifying that one: the "As for the original police box... not so much" was a bit ambiguous - at least to me, but I do have my dense-as-neutronium moments ; "original police box" prop? Or original "Police Box" proper? It was the Police Box proper.)
