I've started off by creating a one time use only mold out of a cornflake box,

The solid master straight out the mold, needs a shed load of polishing now

Wow! I was definitely over-thinking this when I first saw that crystal posted a short while back. So simple, and yet so elegant. Is the crystal solid, or hollow? And if it's hollow, does it have any lighting FX in it so it glows like it did in "Planet of the Spiders"?

It also looks pretty good for not being polished yet.

Nicely done. How long does did it take for your master and copy take to cure?

Master 40 minutes, copy 3 hours.

That really does look like a bit of polished quartz crystal. (Or whatever they call the same thing in blue; geology - or gemology - were never my strongpoints, not that I had many to begin with, but those two certainly aren't among them. )

Another brilliant replica, Oblivion! Well done.
