It is a thing of beauty and iv always loved it and wanted to own it. Since that was an impossibility i have tried to make it myself. I simply couldnt recreate the base so i used one from a model i had left over. Obviously the top still needs painting but il get round to that

The internet is a strange and wonderful thing, I haven't checked in here for ages, and when I do someone's saying something nice about a model I made more then fifteen years ago!

Thanks! Just for your information, it's based on the TARDIS console used by the 7th Doctor in Doctor Who Monthly back in the early 90s.

There is a thread around here somewhere with reference photos of the "Season 27" console model.  Maybe it's over at the TARDIS Builders Annex.  Have you checked there?

That's one of them.  But there is one here on this board too.  It may have gotten dislocated when the board of remodeled a couple of months ago.  I'll try and do another search for it.  In the meantime, check out Archie's thread about the Hartnell console model he made when he was with Iconic Replics.
