OK, I know it was about 4 years ago when the new dalek paradigm was introduced in 'Victory Of The Daleks' but I decided to give myself a challenge and show you what I ended up with.
Behold the restoration of the daleks

I'll second that!

True, but I've still got it running on my dinosaur PC because, so far, XP is still the best thing Microsoft-in-the-head has to offer!

These look so awesome.
I will admit, I personally hate these designs, but you have done a great job modeling them.

Spot on! ;D

Ironwolf I admit it took me a while to get used the new designs. I just thought to pass the time I should try to creating the 2010 daleks models in google sketchup and see what people think.

Thanks for the comment ;D

LMC, it's still not too late to edit that first post and slip that image inside the Spoiler tag!

Beautiful! I'm always dascinated by your use of SketchUp to create amazing models! Quick couple of questions:
1. How did you make the sloping skirt panels?
2. How did you make those globes on the sides of the skirt?

Kind regards, The14thDr:D

EDIT: how come a spoiler tag got stuck around my post? I thought these Daleks were introduced four years ago?

It seems his Dalek Antibodies post got merged with this one and the spoiler tag came with it

LMC97

I've just seen you comments, I don't know why I can't get rid of the spoiler tag. About the globes question, if you remember the steps on the router THING, I used that method but with a arc instead of a triangle.

LMC

P.S If anyone can help with getting rid of the spoiler tag can you help me out. (it's becoming a bit annoying)

Nice job with the Daleks. That's something I'm going to do in the future.
