I need help with the roof!  I'll just go ahead and ask:  Anyone have plans for the roof that I can peek at?  Detailed pix?  Any help appreciated!

Great info, thanks much.  This site's been a huge help!

Are you asking for dimensions or are you requiring build method plans?

If it's the latter, I would suggest taking a peek at some of the build diaries here, but not mine as even though I built my (classic style) roof 5 years ago, I've not actually uploaded that part of the diary to this site.

You're building a current series TARDIS aren't you?  There have been a number of replicas built, so someone can help you out - Chris Rowand has done a couple of excellent full sized builds, one of which he still owns.  Primrodo has also done one as has several other people.  Perhaps you could give them a shout.

If you're wondering about angles and dimensions, you could try our handy-dandy Roof Calculator (now at the top of You just input the overall dimensions you're working to and it will work out slopes and angles for you.

HI all, I am in the middle of a full size TARDIS build and was looking for some time saving help. I attempted to use the handy dandy roof calc but its not working ( or I don't know how to use it) pluging in numbers does nothing can anyone shed any light ???

evil bob

I used Crispin's roof calculator on Saturday. I got the roof right on the first try. Thanks Crispin!

You missed it. :)

It's been at the top of this board all along.

There shouldn't be much on the old board that hasn't been transferred now.

I've updated the old link that's further up this thread - presumably that's where you were looking.
