The Jason's Ice Warrior Bust

I've been wanting to sculpt life size busts for a while now. I decide to start with the Ice Warrior because they seemed a relatively easy place to start. I sculpted the master on a styrofoam head with oil based clay.

Once I was happy with the sculpture I made a mold and cast it in resin.

After trimming and sanding I primed and painted the bust. It still needs clear coating. I also plan to put a layer of clea resin over the eyes to make them look more like lenses. I have a second bust that I cut the mouth out of to make it look more like a helmet, but I haven't taken pictures of that yet.

Very nicely done, indeed! It's nice to see this (and looking forward to seeing the "helmet" version), especially since the Ice Warriors (or at least one of them) made a return to the New Series. That is a piece of brilliant work!
