Karst, hey thanks for asking.  I wish I could say I got a lot done over the weekend, but given it's the July 4th weekend, I had to prepare for picnics at the old homestead.  I hope to get my stiles all placed on the walls this week and I got measurements from Purp on the cut out dimensions for the windows, so that will be next too.  Hopefully, by this weekend I will have the doors made as well.  The next step is the to make the 3-step header just above the doors and walls.  Once I get that done, then I will work on my sign boxes.  I can't hardly wait to see the stiles up on the walls.  The 'old girl' is starting to come together.
I will post some pics soon.  I'll keep you posted!

So, how are you coming with your build.  I feel bad seeing both our threads moving down the list due to inactivity at times.  Sometimes, I just want to put a quick message in your thread to get you back up there! LOL.   ;D   I am very eager to see your progress as well.  Dude, I appreciate your continued support.  +1 Karma to you!!!

Cheers,
Jon

Dr. Iz,
I am new to forum and just wanted to stop in and say hello.  I see you are starting the header and sign boxes.  I am only asking because i am starting a virtual build of the Hartnell tardis, before i commit to lumber.  I have already reached a dilemma.  To attempt a conon build which would't be too difficult in a 3dcad program or a more practical build.

I believe this is a similar design to Timegirl's sign box.  If you need any help in what if designs in a virtual build , just let me know.  greg

Greg,

Hey man, welcome to the forum.
I am sure you find everyone to be quite help and very supportive.
I appreciate you 3d drawings.  I know nothing about CAD and would love to learn how you guys are doing it.
As far as your drawings, love the details, very helpful.
I will definitely keep that in mind as I approach my sign boxes, so I will be in touch.

Also, how far away are you from Erie, PA?  It's nice to meet a few stateside chaps.

Cheers,
Jon

Jon,
Thanks for the welcome.  Burton is about 35 miles east of Cleveland.  Erie , PA. from Burton about 60 + miles.  You are right about the support and expertise on this forum.  Alot of information to digest.  I also want to thank Colin on his window tips.  He also has me thinking fiberglass for the roof.  Living in northeastern ohio means i must keep weatherproofing clearly in sight.
Anyway , I did some more work to the police sign.  This time a print.

Dimensions may not be accurate.  Just a test run.  I must also think about fasteners which are also not on the print.
Long day and getting tired.   Thanks again,  greg

Greg,
Well, we are basically neighbors.  Bach4me(Benjamin) lives in Norwalk just South of Cedar Point.
It's nice to have some builds going on close to each other.  I appreciate you 3dcad.  I will referencing you images for my sign box builds.

Cheers,
Jon
