After doing considerable research with the original Box survey in 1933, and with historical OS survey maps I have completed a Map of the Edinburgh Police Box System.

It isn't perfect there are a few odds and ends that aren't quite correct but are fairly close. It is my hope that by making this public those that are able to contribute will do so.

The Divisions are broken up by Color:
A = Blue
A Portobello = Light Blue
B = Red
C = Green
D = Yellow

The Pins with Dots are Boxes that are still in place

The blank pins show the former locations.

Coffee Cups are now Food Stalls that were relocated.

Question Marks are Locations that the OS survey maps indicate had a box, but were not on the 1933 Survey and as such aren't associated with a Division or a Box number. Of course they do show in the more extensive database entries that cover additions in the 1940s, 50s, and 60s.
