A small selection of shots of the War Doctor's TARDIS from the trailers for The Day of the Doctor and from the prequel minisode, The Night of the Doctor.

And now, from The Day of the Doctor:

One thing about this prop that kept troubling me in the episode -  and that no one else seems to have mentioned, is that it looks to me as though this TARDIS is sporting a lamp more like Smith's, rather than Tennant's.
Don't get me wrong, but I could be totally mistaken! We only ever saw glancing shots of the lamp, and if anyone has got the episode on hand to grab some screenshots that would be epic (I think it was most noticeable in the early Time War scenes).
I'm aware that the way the light reflects of the inside of the top of the lamp can make it appear different, and that if Purple hasn't called it it probably isn't there, but still, I'd like to know either way!
Isn't it how ironic that we have to think of solutions out of the box, in order to build our boxes a lot of the time?

A very trivial thing, probably mentioned before somewhere, but the Hurt and Tennant TARDIS' both have small circular holes in the corner post caps?

Said it was trivial.

(First post updated with new shots from the episode).

A tad shame we saw it so fleetingly, even if it's the same overall proportions and signage as Tennant's TARDIS.

Did anyone manage to screengrab the 13 TARDIS's around Gallifrey? Curious to know if they made the effort to use teh correct dims and colours for the older boxes.

Mark

As the other TARDIS's are approaching Gallifrey, I noticed what appears to be the Pertwre box (I started a thread CGI TARDIS) and later found the Newbury box.

The problem is the new BBC iplayer puts a big banner accross the screen when I pause so screen grabs would be rubbish.

Purple lays it down for us on the Prop.  It's the Series 4 prop redressed.

Just a thing - I mentioned earlier that I thought the lamp on this box was different, well I have now obtained proof, after getting up close earlier today. More pics to follow, but for now , posting this at an awkward time):

Not the best (they really whizz by), but there seems to be at least one attempt at a Hartnell box (these are in sequence)...

Though it's alluded to be the Brachacki TARDIS... it looks more like the CGI for the current Matt Smith TARDIS.

Photo 2 above is a different one - narrow roof sign, thinner proportion and a single stack roof that looks like a bit like a late Troughton/early Pertwee Brachacki to me...

I think that's what she's supposed to be, mutantrad. There was some discussion about that particular TARDIS in another thread (which, of course, I can't find now to link to), so I'd say you're right on the mark there.

Ah thanks. Wasn't sure if this had appeared somewhere else.
