Nice grabs, Kingpin (as usual)! And, I think it's safe to remove the Spoiler Tag from this thread now; it's been well over two weeks since this special aired. The entire planet should have seen it by now (several times - let's face it; nobody can watch it just once!).

I'm thinking of making my own stasis cube by cutting/sanding the edges off a sphere, but I was wondering what diameter sphere I would need to buy in order to build this? ???

I was thinking 10cm, but that looks a little small in my hand, or maybe I just have small hands? :D

If I was to hazard a guess, I would say about 4 inches in diameter. By the time you'd be done with the sanding to get those flat spots, you'd probably have something with an overall diameter of 4 inches with 3.5 inches or so from flat to flat. (Just a guess going by how it looked in the actors' hands, so I'd say your guess was pretty close - who's going to argue over those 2mm? ;))
