Hey thanks  Rick, Jon, Atomic, Avadh and Uncle Lew for your words of encouragement.

Funny when I started this project I took a weeks vacation and I thought I would have it built with a good 7 days of work. Of course I spent 5 days on this site trying to figure out how I would actually build the thing. If it were not for the resource of this board I never would have built this box.

Then I thought I will have it built in a Month, 4 long months later and I just Pray I can get this done before it snows. Reason being is my Garage is running out of room and soon I will need to assemble the beast outdoors to properly build the roof. I hope the roof goes quick.

Hi Scott
That's looking really cool ol' son, if I may say. Great stuff. Just wait 'til you reach the "Blue paint moment"
Tardis building takes longer than any of us realise, once we get started.
What's your name on flickr? I'll look you up.
Keep it coming
KB
PS Jon, what's this, "I am currently in Las Vegas on business". I thought people only ever went there for fun LOL

KB - agree.  This is business/fun!  An oxymoron... I am attending medical lectures during the day and playing at night, well playing Black Jack.  I just like to walk up and down the Las Vegas strip... It's adult Disney Land with all the lights and people.  Most everyone is happy! LOL... :)  Sorry to digress Scott on your thread!  Cheers, Jon~

OK new Rule!!
Whenever you post progress on your build everyone that likes your progress should give a Karma Point!! I have been working my butt off and I only have 7 points. I do not feel the love here  :(

Ok Seriously Jon, for filling up my Thread to converse with Chris, and the fact that you are in Vegas you get SMITE or is it SMOTE.

Naaaaa your fine Jon, I am glad you are having a good time. I have been to Vegas on Business 6 times in the last few years so I am all Vegased out.

Chris, I have no idea what Uncle Lew meant by Flickr, it isnt me or if it is me I didnt post it.  Sorry.  Actually I dont know what Flickr is, I thought it was a Dolphin.

to make building the roof a little faster take all your measurements while its still set up. one of the things i made sure i did was make my first step of my roof as square as possible that way the top of the box won't be out of whack. also a nice feature of the tardis is that the posts lock in that first step of the roof. its looking great

Smitten?  ;D
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

Scott - I would agree with everyone's advice on building the roof whilst your build is standing erect if possible.  I wanted to add, make sure that you measure each wall distances behind the corner posts just in case your build is not square.  I found out the hard way and could have save myself a bit of grief  :-[ :P ::)

The ol' girl is coming along nicely.  The 'blue paint' moment is coming, but make sure you use a good primer on that bare wood, especially if she's going to be outside for the long haul.

Cheers, Jon~ ;D

I've got no problem with that.  Have one more point for a fantastic TARDIS!

It was a joke ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

However if I get my Doors hung this weekend as I have planned I will do just that and pander to you for my Karma points like the homeless guy hanging out under the Grant Park bridge in Chicago.  ;D

Oh and I do appreciate the bump in points from all who provided.
(However I still am to figure out how Karma points help me in life)
