Karsten,  I am going for mainly a Hartnell build. I first thought I wanted to do a NST but as I looked at all the other builds and plans I decided that I really like the First one the best. I might make a few modifications to my taste but for the most part this will be the direction.

Thank's!!!  Actually that is the Left side of the box. I just put the pull door sign there for effect. I didn't have time to work on this last weekend but I did get tired of crawling on my hands and knees to gain access to my garage so I moved the box in between ceiling beams and set it back enought that I can now get the Garage Door open almost the full distance.

I am hoping to get all the sides and the doors complete this weekend.

Ok, after several weeks of delay I finally had a chance to spend this weekend working on the ol box!

I got the other two walls complete! I am down to the Doors and then I can move on to the Sign Boxes....... yeeehaaa!!!! Signboxes, Roof and then PAINT...  I am hoping to have this project complete by November. I am racing against the weather now, I have to paint her in the Garage and soon the days will struggle to warm above 50 degrees.

First picture is of the Backyard. The TARDIS will materialize center of the wooden fence.

My Mom has been there from the start to help with the build. I have consulted her creative mind and the extra pair of hands to get this project done.

Great progress son! I too, had to beat the weather, back in 2006. One piece of advice; Don't cut corners to get the job done, you'll regret it later (As if you would )

Scott, great work mate!  I agree, do not take any short cuts, it will only have a domino effect... I understand the desire to get your build completed.  I am struggling on the roof panels myself.

Thanks Jaren and Jon, I appreciate the support.

I have no plans to rush completion, my comment was that of the fact that I hadn't worked on my build in 4 weeks and that if I am going to have this project complete before November I will need to focus my Weekends on getting this done.

Soon I will run out of room in the Garage. I am contemplating getting what I have done painted now while it is warm and assemble her in the yard. Then just throw a tarp over her to protect the interior from any rain. That way I can build the Roof and get good measurements. At this point I don't even think I can get the sign boxes mounted due to the height of the garage beams.

Also if I do get delayed I can always paint the roof in the basement.

I said those same words two years ago... and when I started back on construction this summer until I hit the Boeing 747 TARDIS roof LOL!   Keep the momentum going!   Your doing such a great job too.

Well I finally had a chance to work on the Box this weekend.

Here are my 3 steps at the top of the side panel.


And here is a shot with the doors temporarily in place.

Next step is to Hang the doors and then start on the Sign boxes.

Scott,  this is such an exciting stage.  The sign boxes really are not that bad at all.  Once you make the first one, the next three move quickly.
I am currently in Las Vegas on business.  I will respond more in the morning...  I am glad to see your progress!
