Actually, this pertains to the "depth" of the panes and the depth of the glass...

Right, so...

The dimensions on Mr. Rudloff's plans show the panes to be 3/4" thick.  But, is that the depth of the window frame from the front to back?  In other words it may be 3/4" when viewed from the front, but as it sits in the door frame, is it 1"?  1.5"?  (3/4" x 3/4" or 3/4" x 1," 3/4" x 1.5"?)  I would think 3/4" square would suffice, but was wondering if anyone made theirs thicker.

Then, the next question is, how far back is the glass from the leading edge of the window frame?  1/4"?

Your answer may be found in the other thread you posted in here: http://tardisbuilders.com/index.php?topic=2312.msg56574#msg56574  Also, it sounds like you are using my old plans.  My current plans have the 2005 window trim at 3/8". However it's 1/2" on the Series 5-7 boxes and on the new Series 8 box, maybe 5/8" now.

Bill,

Yes, Dave (my CAD man/friend/fellow Whovian) and I are using your plans for the Eccleston/Tennant box and are modifying them as needed.

Did my explanation in the other thread help you find your answers?
