Ok, so I dived into this project VERY fast and I have to finish it even faster. I'm reading the "plans" I have on the Yardley box, but REALLY need to know if the measurements for the wall panel splays are for the TOP(outside) of the panel crosspieces or the base....does that make sense?

PLEASE HELP! I need to have this finished within the week!

Using the best straight edge I've got, it looks like the measurement for the stiles' width is for the outer edge (after bevelling). So, the stiles would get a bit wider as they meet the door and side panels.

Over-exaggerated, but:

\ _____
|
|       4" (bottom stile)
|
|_____
/

\ _____
|
|       3.5" (other stiles)
|_____
/

Then I'd guess add an extra half inch on each side of the stile for the bevel, which would make the bottom stile a total of 5" wide, and the other stiles 4.5" wide where they meet the panels.
