Nice Find David! The only problem I have is modern ones seem to have the Flutes INSIDE as opposed to outside. Its hard to tell but I think the Flutes are on the outside on the console.

On Identification news, I found a number of parts recently! One I am waiting to show up in hand before I reveal too much but these!

While looking for unrelated parts we stumbled on vintage UK safes and low and behold I believe we identified 3 parts.

On the FABRICATION panel the 2 brass T shaped knobs are from safes. I have not 100% identified the round knob one but I have seen many that look very very similar.

And that led to the Smiths Key hole and finding the flip out disc (escutcheon) and key hole.

You can see the writing and the disc on these images look identical. I believe they removed the outer ring and just screwed it in. I have one on order to see in person to confirm, but super stoked!

Excellent work! :)  The Smith Key cover was a frustrating mystery as it was clear there was writing on it, but never a clear-enough shot to read any of it.

Thank you! And Definitely, some of these parts are hard to ID without seeing the info clearly on them.

New part arrival as well!

This is on the Mechanical Panel and was later the centre was covered with a Art Deco Grill. I may add that.

Old National Grid keyboard. Looking at the console, the same coloured keys have indicators in their front edges, and even some of the colour groupings are similar.

I know its blurry I will get a better shot for sure.

It is a METAL Keyboard and from the US! So it explains the cost!

You keep saying "pipe". Are you talking about the brass handle? The makers most likely used a lathe to cut the original.

I notice that the two black crank knobs just above the viewer panel appear to be very similar (if not identical) to the crank knobs used on the Proton Packs from Ghostbusters II.

I believe I've found a very close match to the big red levers.Screenshot_20210331-134249_copy_270x555.png

Just seeing this again with a fresh set of eyes.  I'm guessing the pipe they mention is the base--and that it is cleverly painted white PVC 4" sewer drain pipe.  A big box hardware store like Lowe's or Home Depot will have a section with junctions and caps and male to female etc parts.

I stand corrected.  DWV (whatever that stands for), not PVC:  https://www.ebarnett.com/Search/PLUMBING/PIPE-TUBING-FITTINGS/DWV-FITTINGS?n=0Zz5w&httproute=True

Similar design, though I believe the ones on the console are much larger.
