One key difference with POV-Ray is that it models with primitives.  If you ask for a sphere, you get a sphere, not a mesh approximation of one, and it does constructive solid geometry with those primitives.  Some nice effects.  No doubt it's not cutting-edge, but I enjoy it.

Everyone has their tool of choice. I moved about a bit in the beginning. I tried C4D and 3DS Max too, but I've been on Maya for so long, I couldn't imagine changing unless someone offered me a job and they only had Max, for example.
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

Excellent, and I can't wait to see more of this!

A question though! Argyl and sons. I've checked my DVDs. Can't see it. Is there some other reference that I do not know of?

No; entirely artistic license.  I considered Magpie Electricals instead, and in fact have an alternate sign for that business, but as it stands it's still Argyle & Son.

Ah! I see...and how artistic!

Looks just right! :)

Everytime I look in here, I'm hoping for a new render :D

This is so realistic... Amazing work

Rassilons Rod

That's looking awesome :)

One small niggle though... Isn't the road just a little too narrow for Ian's car?

Quite right.  I narrowed the road inadvertently while modifying something else.  The car would still have fit, but with only 6 inches of clearance!  Here's a corrected view.

Some great work going off there Deck5, and also some tantalising hints of things beyond those gates....

Very good representation has a nice nostalgic feel to it

I love this so much!

;D

Listen, I've been working on a Doctor Who 50th Celebration myself, in completing the 1993 30th Anniversary Film 'Into the Dark Dimension'. There's a scene set at Totter's Lane, and I think that your set would be PERFECT for that scene. Would you be interested in letting us borrow your model, or even better, giving some footage of your own matching to our animation?

I'll do anything if you'll do this for me, I really would be grateful if you brought some of your talent to the project.

Give it consideration and thanks for your time! :D

Sure, PM me and let me know in more detail what you're looking for, and I'll see if it's something I think is feasible to do.
