The anchor lamp cut apart much easier than I thought it would.

So that's why you miss the club meeting today?  That's ok you are forgiven because you were TARDISing. ;)

I took my "good" allergy meds and time-traveled to 6:00PM. Sorry I missed it.

Well, this made up for it. ;)

Nice job Bob!

When the Frame starts going up let me know. I have been traveling down your way on occasion.

Okay Scott  the weather has actually cooled down to a workable temperature. These 100+ degree weekends have been slowing my progress.

I meant,  Thanks, Scott!

So Evil Bob-
where does one get heat mould plastic? and was this difficult to form?- did you use a top frame to apply downward pressure?

inquiring minds want to know.
Thanks for sharing this intriguing build with us.

Here's a tutorial I made for another forum.

I got the styrene plastic from

The plastic is attached to a wood frame and heated in a 350 degree oven until the plastic droops. Then it's put over the original while the vacuum is running. The vacuum does all of the work.

really great work here - I'm loving this. :D
why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

Thanks!  I'll be posting an update tomorrow.

Dang it!  If I didn't have to go to Peoria to do a little side work, I would have come and played.
